Two weeks have passed since my college
or Institute as they like to call it started. I feel as if the college has just begun yesterday. I cannot and don’t want to forget the first day of the college. How seniors irritated us juniors, how teachers
including our dean of academics joined them, our frustration, anger and at the last, our surprised expressions and joyous face when we came to know they were playing Bakra with us. A perfect welcome by seniors. It’s our college’s tradition to ‘billy-goatise’ juniors on their first day of college. It is one of the memorable days of my life. I would suggest MBA aspirants to take admission into our institute named N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research (NLDIMSR) just to experience this particular day. You may leave the college after that if you want to join other B school. :D
Talking about college, there are strict standards we students are supposed to maintain. We cannot
means we are not allowed to use cellphones inside college campus. We are not allowed to wear T shirts.
What the heck! We should complete assignments
even if there are no marks for doing the same and do homework. Second last one; this is tacit rule; we should behave like Post graduate students or like managers.
What the heck! The college treats us as if we are still in school and at the same time, expect us to behave like PG students. Last but the most important, we should follow all the rules.
Let me write something about my class. I am in C division. Class strength is sixty. All students are amicable though some of them hesitate to open up. All are helpful except the one girl who didn’t give me the birthday list of whole class. Hehe, just kidding. I really enjoy the lectures because of them. We all have fun and laughter together. It makes me nervous because following thought pops up in my mind whenever I feel that I am feeling great at this place,
This is the last phase of my student life :-((
and I have only one year. We won’t have lectures together in the second year as different people will choose different things.
I talked about my college. I talked about my classroom which is a part of the college. Now I write something about girls of my class as they are an integral part of C. Girls...my favourite subject as you
in particular the members of Ekapekshaek may think of me :P Well girls’ group is very active.
Read: hyperactive. Lolz They are always doing something.
Except some of them. Some of the girls always take initiative. Last week we went to see a movie called Singh is Kinng. I don’t think any class in any college has gone to see a movie just after one week of college beginning. Today only the girls have decided that whole class would wear white, saffron or green on the independence day.
They didn’t forget to add ‘if possible’ so that it wouldn’t 'look' compulsory. Smart girls!!
Sounds paradoxical? I can’t help it. I don’t talk to them much. You know I don’t open up easily to unfamiliar people. It takes some time for me. Many of the boys are idle and are interested in their respective groups.
At least they seem to be. I seem one of them though I am not. The girls have given class the ambiance of family. Please don’t misunderstand. :P Few of them look pretty ;-)
I am such a hopeless boy. Don’t ask me who I like. Time has flown very fast since last two weeks. It’ll pass faster in upcoming days. Day by day I lose it more and gain more happy memories at the cost of time.
:) or :-( ? Which smiley do I use?
Phew!! I am tired!! How shall I end this post? Okay. That’s it. Friends, please comment on this post as this is the longest post posted on my blog so far and I have posted after long time. :-) Good night. Happy Independence Day.
