After Long Time...
So I am posting something original after long time. I still don’t know what to write…will just keep on writing what will come to my mind. Life is just moving and I have no control over it.(Quite a hopeless start, isn’t it?) I’ve learned the meaning of a Marathi proverb ‘हेही गेले, तेही गेले’ many times in last few months in practical manner. Yesterday we were supposed to go to Karjat for the picnic but it was canceled because of some reasons. (I remember another Marathi proverb ‘कथा कोणाची, व्यथा कोणाची!’) Nevertheless, I came to know it very late so I couldn’t plan anything else. We (Susmit, Siddhesh, Viraj and I) had a great picnic yesterday at Marine Drive. We did everything we usually do on a one day picnic out there.
Summer has been very good and I have had plenty of mangoes. Schedule is not much hectic. My performance in the first year of MBA was disastrous and chances of me getting finance are infinitesimally small. I watched many movies in last forty days. Most of them were good. I’ve been trying to avoid some people since last one month but have been successfully unsuccessful in the same. They say it rightly, “If you try to make everybody happy, you lose the fun.”
I am happy with the results of the general election 2009. Congress (I) was rewarded for the risk they took by fighting elections against their allies also in many constituencies. Kudos to Rahul Gandhi! The Sentiments in the share markets have changed as you can see from what happened on 18th May, 2009. We can hope for the faster recovery of economy. I just want a job in a company with my favourite profile and a decent salary. Government is there to take care of rest. Vishwanathan Anand had a great rapid tournament. I enjoyed the IPL and I am now looking forward to the T20 World Cup which is taking place in England. All the best to team India.

Feeling and Having
This is not my composition. I have got it through an email. It's worth reading and keeping in mind.
Money has no memory. Experience has.
You will never know what the total cost of your education was, but for a lifetime you will recall and relive the memories of schools and colleges.
Few years from now, you will forget the amount you paid to settle the hospitalization bill, but will ever cherish having saved your mother's life or the life you get to live with the just born.
You won't remember the cost of your honeymoon, but to the last breath remember the experiences of the bliss of togetherness.
Money has no memory. Experience has.
Good times and bad times, times of prosperity and times of poverty, times when the future looked so secure and times when you didn't know from where the tomorrow will come… life has been in one way or the other a roller-coaster ride for everyone. Beyond all that abundance and beyond all that deprivation, what remains is the memory of experiences.
Sometimes the wallet was full… sometimes even the pocket was empty. There was enough and you still had reasons to frown. There wasn't enough and you still had reasons to smile. Today, you can look back with tears of gratitude for all the times you had laughed together, and also look back with a smile at all the times you cried alone.
All in all, life filled you with experiences to create a history of your own self, and you alone can remember them all. The first time you balanced yourself on your cycle without support…The first time she said 'yes' and it was two years since you proposed…
The first cry… the first steps… the first word… the first kiss… all of your child…
The first gift you bought for your parents and the first gift your daughter gave you…
The first award… the first public appreciation… the first stage performance…
And the list is endless… Experiences, with timeless memory…
No denying that anything that's material cost money, but the fact remains the cost of the experience will be forgotten, but the experience never.
So, what if it's economic recession? Let it be, but let there not be a recession to the quality of your life.
You can still take your parents, if not on a pilgrimage, at least to the local temple. You can still play with your children, if not on an international holiday, at least in the local park. It doesn't cost money to lie down or to take a loved one onto your lap.
Nice time to train the employees, create leadership availability and be ready for the wonderful times when they arrive.
Hey! Aspects like your health, knowledge development and spiritual growth are not economy dependent.
Time will pass… economy will revive… currency will soon be in current… and in all this, I don't want you to look back and realise you did nothing but stayed in gloom.
Recession can make you lose out on money. Let it not make you lose out on experiences… If you are not happy with what you have, no matter how much more you have, you will still not be happy.
Make a statement with the way you live your life: How I feel has nothing to do with how much I have.

Dil Chahta Hai, Kabhi Na Beete Chamkile Din
Two weeks have passed since my college or Institute as they like to call it started. I feel as if the college has just begun yesterday. I cannot and don’t want to forget the first day of the college. How seniors irritated us juniors, how teachers including our dean of academics joined them, our frustration, anger and at the last, our surprised expressions and joyous face when we came to know they were playing Bakra with us. A perfect welcome by seniors. It’s our college’s tradition to ‘billy-goatise’ juniors on their first day of college. It is one of the memorable days of my life. I would suggest MBA aspirants to take admission into our institute named N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research (NLDIMSR) just to experience this particular day. You may leave the college after that if you want to join other B school. :D
Talking about college, there are strict standards we students are supposed to maintain. We cannot means we are not allowed to use cellphones inside college campus. We are not allowed to wear T shirts. What the heck! We should complete assignments even if there are no marks for doing the same and do homework. Second last one; this is tacit rule; we should behave like Post graduate students or like managers. What the heck! The college treats us as if we are still in school and at the same time, expect us to behave like PG students. Last but the most important, we should follow all the rules.
Let me write something about my class. I am in C division. Class strength is sixty. All students are amicable though some of them hesitate to open up. All are helpful except the one girl who didn’t give me the birthday list of whole class. Hehe, just kidding. I really enjoy the lectures because of them. We all have fun and laughter together. It makes me nervous because following thought pops up in my mind whenever I feel that I am feeling great at this place,
This is the last phase of my student life :-((
and I have only one year. We won’t have lectures together in the second year as different people will choose different things.
I talked about my college. I talked about my classroom which is a part of the college. Now I write something about girls of my class as they are an integral part of C. Girls...my favourite subject as you in particular the members of Ekapekshaek may think of me :P Well girls’ group is very active. Read: hyperactive. Lolz They are always doing something. Except some of them. Some of the girls always take initiative. Last week we went to see a movie called Singh is Kinng. I don’t think any class in any college has gone to see a movie just after one week of college beginning. Today only the girls have decided that whole class would wear white, saffron or green on the independence day. They didn’t forget to add ‘if possible’ so that it wouldn’t 'look' compulsory. Smart girls!! Sounds paradoxical? I can’t help it. I don’t talk to them much. You know I don’t open up easily to unfamiliar people. It takes some time for me. Many of the boys are idle and are interested in their respective groups. At least they seem to be. I seem one of them though I am not. The girls have given class the ambiance of family. Please don’t misunderstand. :P Few of them look pretty ;-) I am such a hopeless boy. Don’t ask me who I like. Time has flown very fast since last two weeks. It’ll pass faster in upcoming days. Day by day I lose it more and gain more happy memories at the cost of time. :) or :-( ? Which smiley do I use?
Phew!! I am tired!! How shall I end this post? Okay. That’s it. Friends, please comment on this post as this is the longest post posted on my blog so far and I have posted after long time. :-) Good night. Happy Independence Day.

Lonavla Picnic
What a wonderful picnic I had! Before the picnic there were few controversies regarding whom to invite, whom 'not' to invite, where to go, how much money to contribute etc.. but the organizers(Viraj, Aditya, Sid) had done great job and result could only be experienced. I just cannot put the experience in words. It is ineffable. Antakshari, Cricket, Dumb Charades, serious discussions, everybody's active and voluntary participation, video clips, jokes, teasing one another, newspaper reading ;)(see I just laughed remembering the newspaper thing.), ambrosial food, pleasant weather, etc.(This word is meant for lazy people like me.) many things made the picnic memorable. It was very funny to see Sid scolding Vikram frequently to stop his comments and pjs. Lol. To see this again and again, I was wishing Vikram would have never stopped. I got a new friend. I participated in Antakshari. :O I played congo till my fingers started paining. Everybody at home, tells me to stop beating a table when I do so while listening a song. :( Pan me mazi vajvaychi haus purna keli. The picnic could not have been better. I hereby thank those who came and made this picnic an unforgettable experience and remaining people. :P:D
